The Tax Administration of The Czech Republic issued a warning for taxpayers who have generated a cash register certificate for electronic sales records three years ago to check its validity. The largest number of certificates expired in November 2019, when 52000 certificates expired, and in February 2020, when 112000 certificates will expire.
The cash certificate is necessary for the electronic registration of sales and if it is not exchanged in time for a new one, sales will not be registered. There is no need to wait for the certificate to expire because a new certificate can be obtained at any time.
The issue of a new certificate is free of charge.
