Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. It is the second-largest country in Europe after Russia, which it borders to the east and north-east.
Fiscalization was introduced back in 1995.
Ukraine implements both hardware and software-based fiscal approach. Taxpayers can freely choose between two options, depending on their specific needs.
Two types of fiscal devices can be found on the market:
- HW fiscal printer and cash register
- SW cash register
Certification of hardware devices before usage is mandatory. SW cash register is free and provided by the State.
All fiscally relevant information must be communicated to the Tax Authorities. For both HW and SW cash register, sending data to the TA in real-time is mandatory.
