Recording of transactions has to be done in accordance with e-invoicing requirements, which are applicable to all transactions.
No particular cash register models or POS solutions with predefined functionalities are mandatory to be used but creation of CFDI (electronic invoice) and communicating adequate transaction data to the authorities (SAT) through an authorized certification provider – e-invoicing solution provider (PAC), are obligatory.
E-invoicing rules are applicable to both B2B and B2C transactions with crucial differences in regard to timeframes, data sets and elements of the proofs of transactions provided to customers.
