There is no certification procedure of POS SW or HW and there is also no communication of transaction data with the tax authorities.
However, there are certain general rules that have to be applied. Statutory obligations require that all transactions can be produced or reproduced for a period of 7 years.
Otherwise, penalties may be imposed.
