Poland
VAT rate reduction postponed in Poland. According to the Government, a plan to cut the standard VAT rate from 23% to 22% is postponed due to the corona-virus pandemic.
Germany
In Germany, five federal states issued a decree in regard to deferral of the KassenSichV (TSE) implementation deadline. As a result, new date is set to March 31, 2021.
Belgium
Belgium approved VAT rate reduction from 21% to 6% for the HORECA sector until December 31st 2020. More information can be found here.

Austria’s Ministry of Finance reduced VAT rate from 20% to 10% on non-alcoholic beverages in order to support HORECA sector.

The Government of Portugal approved the decrease in VAT for masks and disinfectant gel in order to combat the pandemic.

The Government of Spain approved the reduction of VAT rate from 21% to 4% for the subscription and download of digital books, magazines and newspapers.
France
According to government, spending limit on contactless card payments in France is to rise from € 30 to € 50 starting from May 11th 2020.
